Today I have a lot of topics running around in my mind. I recently decided to purchase some organic grass-fed beef from a local rancher. My plan was to be able to get some good beef bones for making bone broth. Bone broth has many health benefits as well as being the base for some really delicious recipes. It has collagen in it.
According to the Cleveland Clinic Collagen accounts for 30% of your body’s protein. It provides structure, support or strength to your skin, muscles, bones and connective tissues. Scientific research is lacking for most collagen supplements. However, a well-balanced diet gives your body the raw ingredients it needs. This helps it make collagen naturally.
So when you eat a nutritious, rounded diet, it helps to meet your needs for collagen. Include some bone broth from time to time.
I love watching LifebyMikeG videos on You Tube. He teaches on all sorts of food related topics. This one is a few years old but it is still one of the best out there.
So my bone broth is simmering merrily away on my cooktop as I type this blog.
My next topic of my closet is kind of funny. I was exercising on my indoor bike trainer. Then, I looked at all the shoes thrown on the floor of my closet. All the shoes tell a story of my life. Ski boots, snow boots, cycling shoes, and slippers. It is mid-February so there is snow on the ground outside. Each time I walk outside I am wearing boots of some kind. I even have some what I call “city boots”. I don’t like to wear my heavy snow boots into town. It is always warmer down there and not as much snow. I have these great short boots that are great for running errands.

I have noticed that since I moved here 5 years ago I have accumulated so many boots. Living at 3000 meters is totally different than the city where I used to live. So my shoes tell my story.

Now if I could only find my ski pass!
Thank you for reading my blog! I hope you are happy and learning something new each day! I love learning so if you have anything to help me learn that would be great! I have learned so much from the great writers that I follow on WordPress. I appreciate you!
Tschüss!
